I have to admit that my knowledge for this song only extended to the first two lines and I was delighted to find that there was more of it. Each letter is shown on the four corners of the spread on which it is featured, along with the Hebrew word it stands for, although the meaning of "Nes Gadol Hayah Sham" is never explained. A paragraph at the end provides a simplified version of the Chanukah story. A section of the book's spine has been cut away, allowing room for an unremovable plastic dreidel, which children will have fun spinning as they read the book.
